Micheal Ninn does porn like no other. He borders on soft porn but you have to love his work. The performers are first class,or is it that he brings out the best in them. Their always beautiful people with great energy and thats what make you want to watch it again and concider buying it. I might not no the difference between good porn and great porn but I do know BAD porn and his work is never bad. You can always watch his work with a date and not freek her out. Enjoy, Respectfully Girth.
My wife and I both enjoyed the film. Took us several viewings to finish it as the film always turned her on. Only negative is the rip off of other main stream movie concepts (minor issue).
Overall one of the better films I have rented.
good couples movie

Jeanna Fine is a dirty talking little sex kitten! What a turn-on! Shock is full of interesting costumes and a plot that rivals something you might find on the sci-fi channel. Couples will enjoy it. Pros: Lots of sex (for a feature film), Jeanna Fine..nuff said. Cons: Special effects are sometimes overdone, might not be enough for hardcore fans.
Visually stunning- at least for a porno- good couples flick - I think? Beautiful women abound, but not really that HOT in the scenes. More artistic than erotic.
This is the strangest, and good DVD, I've seen in a while. They didn't scrimp on the scenery and settings. The sex was better than most 90's era features that I've seen. The cutting from angle to angle was a little much. But still worth the rental.

This flick seems to have won awards for it artistic qualities, of which there are many. This is a high quality film. But like a previous reviewer implied, the art seems to overwhelm the erotic properties. For example, there's something about two statues coming to life and DP'ing some gal that just doesn't turn me on. So rent this flick to see a special awarding wining porn flick, not because you, as a couple, want to get heated up.
It would have been nice to know that this movie was in french. It was impossible to follow the story line, I never even finished watching it and tried 3 times.
this movie may have been worthwhile in 1998 when it was released, but it is ridiculous by 2006 standards. the women are not attractive, the sex is not hot, and the imagery is weird. move on to something better, there are many worthwile movies to see, but this is not one.
